This space is to become yours, a space to work through you, a space to see yourself in a way you never have before, a space that finds you opening to potential and confronting that which may be keeping you feeling stuck. After completing his clinical Doctorate at Monash University, Dr Jarrod White worked for over a decade in a range of private practices. During this time he learned to frequently take his practice beyond the therapy room, into a wider and more collective space. He curated workshops, worked on a year long eco-anxiety program with Landcare, established an instagram platform called @thelivesofothers dedicated to sharing experiences with mental health, booked appearances on radio, podcasts and TV, and underwent high intensity group therapy training with June Lake, a disciple of Irvin D. Yalom. The conversation for so long has been about how to "fix" the individual, this practice offers a new way to consider mental health - through the relationship between the individual and the group/wider community. . |
